Nishikawa Sukenobu (1671–1750), often called simply “Sukenobu”, was a japanese printmaker from Kyoto. The influence of his style of depicting women is seen in the works of such artists as Suzuki Harunobu and Kitao Shigemasa.
He painted many works mainly on beautiful genre paintings. He influenced many painters regardless of Kyoto and Edo. Ignoring the perspective and giving a sense of security to the painter ‘s method of drawing to the plane.
